Express our adoration, devotion and love for God through worship. More than just our singing on a Sunday, worship is a lifestyle and attitude that our focus and priority reflects the greatness and majesty of God.
Committed to discipleship and personal growth – God loves us too much to leave us the way we are. We’re on a journey of becoming more like Christ. Studying the Bible, obedience, having an experiential relationship with God through the Holy Spirit and prayer are all aspects of being a Christ follower. As we grow, we help those around us grow. We are disciples who make other disciples.
Jesus loves all people and died to restore mankind’s relationship with the Father. He has commissioned us to show God’s love and proclaim the Gospel to those who are not connected to God – we reach out to people and tell them how they can make right with God not by their moral behaviour or self improvement, but by putting their faith in Jesus substitutionary death on the cross. Evangelism should not be an event, or for specific people, but a lifestyle expressed through all we do. Being witnesses of what God has done in us is not just an activity, but part of our identity.
Sharing our lives and living our faith together are part of God’s design for us to reach our full potential. Community is healing, loving, fun and safe. Authentic relationships where we grow better together. Where we’re accepted, cared for, and look out for others. Where we give and share generously. At a higher level, we’re connected to a world-wide community of like-minded churches that partner with the NCMI team.
Every individual has God-given gifts, talents and abilities that He has designed for influencing and impacting others. That’s part of His purpose and destiny for each of our lives. Getting involved in a team is how we express and grow our gifts, and have opportunity to minister God’s love and grace to others.
